Alexi's wines have been enjoying watching the sun setting over the ocean for a few years now and have been gaining some serious traction and credibility. Having recently been named in Young Gun's top winemakers we thought it was about time he shared the juice with the east.
'Chalari', meaning relaxed, is homage to his Greek heritage and his father and this forms the ethos behind the brand. Not bound by any conventional limitations, Alexi produces with a natural and unscrewed mentality whilst keeping an observant watch over proceedings. Always understanding the essential balance of the art and science of winemaking.
Small parcels of fruit are sourced from some of the best vineyards across selected regions in WA, to build an eclectic range of exciting and focused small batch wines that are bursting out of the glass.
All wild ferments, no fining or filtering and minimal, if any, sulphur.
